I went into this bakery yesterday to buy a little treat to bring (to share) to a club meeting. When I went in, I noticed that they offered espresso drinks. I ordered an iced latte - and it was the best coffee I've had anywhere in this area! If this were just a coffee shop - no bake goods - I would think that they would be very very successful.
Also, the biscotti was loved by all at the club meeting - every crumb eaten! (This was actually a little embarrassing because several other club members made beautiful, homemade treats. But my purchased biscotti was the clear favorite.

Everything I’ve ever had from Sweet Zen is absolutely DELICIOUS!
I am currently obsessed with their salted caramel brownies and their chocolate chip cookies.
I love (and hate 😂) that this place is 3 minutes from my house. I’m there 3-4 times a week picking up bread, cinnamon buns and those freaking brownies. I may have a problem.
I suppose it’s not the worst problem in the world to have 🤪.
Definitely stop in and try this amazing local business!

Amal's dessert are the best. They are tasty, beautiful and elegant. In love with the lemon meringue tarts. They remind of my Gran's classic recipe. They make beautiful trays for parties!!!

My uncle brought us some great treats from here! The cookies and huge and delicious! Cannot wait to go there myself to try more of their baked goods.

Amazing baked goods. I travel all over for delicious desserts. I consider myself a dessert snob. I don’t take consuming calories lightly. So it must be worth it. This place exceeded my expectations. I got a scone, cinnamon bun, oatmeal raisin cookie and a feta black olive focaccia bread. (Not all for me) I tried a taste of each and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was packed with flavor, super moist and delicious. I’ll definitely be back !

I ordered a custom birthday cake that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Amal was so easy to work with and very responsive to email. For chocolate lovers, the chocolate cake with chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream and chocolate ganache filling is perfection, and not overly sweet. I also picked up a sourdough loaf it is excellent. Thank you, Sweet Zen!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the cake we ordered for my daughter’s first birthday. From the very beginning, the owner was incredibly kind, accommodating, and honest throughout the entire process. Communication was seamless, and she made everything feel easy and stress-free during what can be such a busy time planning a party.
We ordered two cakes — a marble cake with Swiss meringue buttercream and a vegan vanilla cake with vegan buttercream — and both were absolutely phenomenal. The texture of both cakes was unbelievably moist and perfectly balanced. The marble cake with Swiss meringue buttercream was light, smooth, and elegant, while the vegan vanilla cake was just slightly sweeter but equally delicious.
Our guests could not stop talking about the cake. So many people came up to ask where it was from and wanted the bakery’s information because they loved it so much. It truly became one of the highlights of the party.
Everything was beautifully made, tasted incredible, and clearly crafted with so much care. I’m so grateful we found them and would recommend them to absolutely anyone. If you’re looking for a bakery that delivers both amazing flavor and wonderful customer service, this is it.

Sweet Zen Bakery created three special cakes for a post-wedding celebration just two days after Christmas. The cakes were beautiful and tasted delicious. Many guests commented on the delicious cakes and asked where they were from. Sweet Zen exceeded my expectations. It is a worth a special trip to get her baked goods and pastries.

Cake ordered for a party was so delicious, and was beautifully decorated too! I've looked all around for a bakery with icing that isn't too sweet, and this is it! The owner takes great pride in her work, and the staff is great too!

Adding to my previous review: “the best cinnamon rolls” … we loved the chocolate chip cake w/ chocolate ganache ordered for my grandfather’s 100th birthday. Not only was the team flexible enough to provide some slices of cake flavors for us to taste prior to placing our order but the finished product was delicious and travelled beautifully to Maryland for the celebration! 10/10. Would definitely repeat!
